Daily curbside pickup of student breakfasts and lunches in School District 197 will end as of Friday, October 9.
Free meals are now available to all children in School District 197 (ages 1-18). The U.S. Department of Agriculture has announced it will waive all fees for school meals through December 31, 2020 (or earlier if funding runs out). This is an extension of the summer meals program that provided meals to families throughout distance learning last spring and into the summer.
Starting Saturday, July 25, Governor Tim Walz has directed that masks or face coverings must be worn throughout Minnesota in all indoor public spaces. This new rule includes school buildings and indoor facilities and applies to all staff and students (kindergarten and older).
All students entering grades K-12 who plan to ride a bus next school year MUST register for bus service each year.
As we look ahead to the fall, School District 197 staff members are hard at work planning for three possible scenarios outlined by the Minnesota Department of Education and how we can best meet the academic, social, and emotional needs of our students.
